Driver Presentation: Mohammad Al Saud
A member of the Royal Saudi family and thus a highly reckoned representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the international racing world, Mohammad Al Saud will take part in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East for the second time in a row. He was a real rookie last year when he did the first part of the season before then moving to the Saudi Race Festival Championship.
Born on the 23rd of July 1992, he started his racing career only last year in the national Saudi Race Festival Championship with a Porsche 997 hat was run for him by Lechner Racing. But without any experience in karting like so many other beginners in motor racing the step into high profiled series is quite a big one.
Nevertheless, he is really focused to making progress and becoming a professional racing driver with the help of the Lechner Racing Academy which is based in Bahrain. He quite well understands the challenges he has to face, the necessity of an intensive training program in and out of the car and is willing to push himself to the limit in all these areas. During the next two or three years with the help of his well-experienced Dutch driver coach Michael Vergers, he wants to be able to follow the example of other Middle Eastern drivers like Abdulaziz Al Faisal and Khaled Al Qubaisi on their way into the international motor racing world.
